Direct Payments, Personal Health Budgets and Education Budgets

Practical coordination, records, rotas, invoices, payroll liaison, outcome tracking and ready-for-audit administration.

What We Do

TishAbility supports families and employers with practical coordination, records, rotas, invoices, payroll liaison, outcome tracking and ready-for-audit administration around Direct Payments, Personal Health Budgets, Education Budgets and mixed funding arrangements.

Many families receive funding through these mechanisms. These provide flexibility in how support is purchased and arranged, but they also come with responsibilities around spending, accountability and reporting. We help families manage these budgets effectively, understanding their obligations, making best use of the funding, and navigating the administrative requirements.

TishAbility does not use one funding stream to replace the statutory responsibilities of another body. Where a package crosses SEND, health, education, community support or regulated care, roles and responsibilities should be clearly agreed.

Types of Budgets We Support

Direct Payments

Payments made directly to individuals or families to purchase social care support, managed through social services

Personal Health Budgets

Allocations of health funding that can be spent on support and services, managed through health services

Education Budgets

Funding allocated for education support within an EHCP, to be used flexibly for education provision
